A little about why Continental Almanac exists, and who's behind it.
Homesteading across Europe has always meant working with fragmented information โ a French planting guide doesn't account for an Irish frost date, and a German seed supplier isn't much use to someone in Portugal. Most tools built for this space are American, built around US hardiness zones and US growing seasons.
Continental Almanac exists to close that gap: one place to journal your land, track what you're growing and raising, swap seeds with people who actually share your climate, and learn from a community that understands the specific rhythms of European homesteading โ from Scandinavia's short summers to Iberia's dry heat.
Continental Almanac is a small, independently-run platform. We're just getting started โ every feature you see was shaped by early feedback from the growers, keepers, and preservers who've tried it. If something's missing or broken, tell us โ we read every message.
